A piece done for Silver Burdett Publishing. This is a mixture
of watercolor and acrylic paints. I had very little time to render this illustration. Upon
submitting the full-sized sketch, the art director nixed a 1/2" harpoon in the whaler's hand (hence, he's just pointing ). I totally enjoyed painting the water. The art director liked this piece a lot.
