Ho, ho, ho.... For the last 15 years or so, I have created my own Christmas card... from cartoons to paintings, they have been traditionally rendered with paint, brush and illustration board. The first few years, I created each one- before rendering one painting and printing them. This year, I have decided to make the card totally in Fractal Painter 6 armed only with my trusty Wacom tablet. Since I like the Victorian era and `Meet me in St. Louis' is one of my favorite pictures, it inspired me to make a sequel to last years `Victorian Carolers.' The above image is only 1/3 the origianl size of the master image. I almost totally used the digital airbrush tool in Painter 6. I tried to convey an innocent and sweet scene without pouring the syrup on too thick.
