In the late 1980's, I created a  mixed media illustration;  using everything but the kitchen sink in this painting: watercolor, acrylic, chemicals, and major abuse of the air-brush.  November,  2000,  I looked at the blurry scan and  I decided to give it a make-over;  elongating   the standard painting to more of a  `widescreen'  feel,  enhancing the  detail,  as  well as  play up the dramatic lighting.  This image  has been reduced to 40% and it really suffers from loss of clarity and compression,  compared to the original which is 1741  by 924... but that is the penalty to prevent  image piracy.
This  image is from an unpublished  adventure/fantasy novel   I wrote entitled: `A Sartorian Tale' ©   The two small figures in the bottom left are Jun & Vella midway through their  heroic journey. I wrote the story in the 80's as well, it's a grand Spielbergian `high fantasy' that would make a  stunning  movie....but the effects budget would have to be a whopper!
