This is a reworking of a sample M:TG card I did as a whim. I enlarged the old picture and added 10-fold the detail. Taking away from the old picture: the burning castle and battlefield of the dead; added a more subtle indication of war. I also intentionally made the angel with less detail to create softness and bring out the soldier. The castle wall strengthens the design. This picture was totally done in Classic Painter without any photographic reference. This picture is 65 % reduced.
